entech staffing solutions

 The Challenge

Entech Staffing Solutions is a Certified Woman-Owned (WBENC) staffing and recruiting firm located in Troy. They had outgrown their original location on Kirts Boulevard and were looking for a fresh start which they found a short distance away on Crooks Road. CEO Kathy Camera, understanding the importance a workplace has on attraction and retention, sought out ISCG to create a space that her employees will love.

Needs

  • The previous office had zero division of space and far too many people within a small floorplate.

  • Semi-private area for drug testing

  • Dedicated public area for visitors to submit applications

  • Additional social spaces for collaboration, teamwork, and training.

Design Solutions

  • Space planning allowed for an improved division of space and reorganized adjacencies better suited for how the internal teams work together.

  • Glass front offices provide daylight views to the entire office.

  • Large workstations provide an ample amount of space to get tasks done as well as provide privacy within an open environment.

  • Entech serves many disabled clients, so being ADA compliant was important to them. They have multiple fully ADA compliant bathrooms complete with showers for client and employee use.

  • A full kitchen in the café helps contribute towards Entech’s attraction and retention strategy as they enlist a local cook to come and make a full lunch for their entire team twice a week.

  • In addition to the large café, social sitting spaces throughout provides the opportunity for serendipitous collaborations.
