OUR Showroom

In 2012, ISCG transformed an aging electronics store with an attached vehicle service garage into a functional and inspired workplace. Structural obstacles included two overhead garage doors, a concrete wall dividing the garage from the retail space, and insufficient daylight exposure. Project obstacles included a strict budget and countless city code regulations. But after extensive interior and exterior renovations, we converted a dormant, tired building into a colorful, vibrant storefront that also serves as an innovative and unique office space in the heart of Royal Oak. ISCG was awarded the 2012 Royal Oak Business Beautification Award for the showroom.

Our story

Since 1976, ISCG has continued to innovate and work hard to maintain our reputation as a trusted advisor to hundreds of satisfied clients across Michigan and the country. Billie Jo Wanink started ISCG with $5,000 and her dream to be Michigan's premier workplace furnishings company. Today, ISCG is still woman-owned and operated in southeast Michigan, with only one change in ownership in our 41 years. We've been a Haworth dealer since 1980, and while furniture has always been our specialty, we've evolved into a full interiors company with enthusiastic and skilled interior designers. From our humble beginnings to our current 12,000 square-foot showroom, our passion and commitment to our clients has remained constant.
