The Challenge
ISCG had the pleasure of working with City Year in downtown Detroit to create a beautiful and functional space. For this project, our team collaborated directly with client and A&D team to deliver their ideal furniture solutions within a fixed budget. Our challenge was to meet the client specific storage, workstation, and office requirements while also marrying the Architect’s clear working vision for furniture style and finishes within the previously proposed design.
Needs
Height adjustable workstations with screens, power hub, and simple storage
Flexible Meeting Furniture in both a lounge and meeting style.
Specific file storage in the aisles and for storage islands

Design Solutions
The final furniture proposal fulfilled the needs and wants of the client and A&D team by using a primarily Haworth based solution of Height adjustable Benching, Belong Screens, X-Series Storage, Soji, Maari, and Poppy Chairs, Riverbend Lounge Furniture, and additional ancillary offerings. Overall, the chosen finishes and carefully selected color pops paired with the white worksurfaces complimented the existing historical qualities of the building.
